Even after Diwali is over, Pune's air quality isn't getting better Pune, November 26, 2023 :  With ongoing air quality concerns, as revealed by recent data from five key monitoring stations across the city , highlighting increased  levels of PM2.5 and PM10 particles, suggesting that despite the conclusion of festivities, the air quality is not improving as expected. The following map give highest AQI, PM2.5, and PM10 recorded from 19th November 2023 to 25th November 2023 for five stations in Pune respectively. AQI shows how clean or dirty the air is, and PM2.5 and PM10 are tiny dust particles in the air.  Through the analysis done on the data collected from the CPCB portal, it is found that the average AQI  for the city was 165, falling within the "moderate" category.  The air quality in Thergaon was consistently poor throughout the week, with the highest AQI recorded on November 22 at 189 with PM10 being the prime pollutant. PUNE, October 11, 2023 – The recent extension of Pune Metro's corridor, now spanning 25 Kilometers to connect key locations in the city, initially sparked enthusiasm among Punekars.
